Again, that would be easier to believe if you were not already too weak to guard your heart in the first place.

I’m handsome as hell. Why would it bother me? Give me some credit.

I'm not talking about the outside, Rangetsu-san.

First a heart’s on my face, and now you’re not talking about it?

I shouldn't be surprised that you fail to understand figures of speech.

What? I know plenty. Like “pair of dogs” and “don’t call the kettle a fish” and “beat you with a bush.” I know things.

Ah, yes. "I know things", the famous rallying cry of the educated.

I’m not saying I’m a scholar, but I’ve read about three books. Maybe four.

That's very impressive. I suppose they all had colorful pictures to help you along?

Pictures? No. Colored ink is expensive, you know? Most scrolls and books don't have them.

You really are from the feudal era.
Shall I introduce you to films sometime? They're much more interesting than boring books.

I told you. I guess you wouldn’t realize, since I’ve adapted so well. It only took me a week to learn how to use the watch. Impressed?
I’ve seen one now. It was exciting, but I’d rather be out doing instead of sitting and watching.

Quite. Who showed you?
[You know, since he highly doubts he figured it out all by himself...]
Not much exciting to 'do' around here. I think you just haven't seen the proper masterpieces yet.

Weiss. She took me to the "movies". I liked the popcorn.
Proper masterpieces? Like what?

I would never be cruel to you, Rangetsu-san.
Perhaps something more family-oriented would appeal to you? How about "Fast And The Furious"?

I don’t know. If there’s a mystery I usually just ask someone that knows the answer.

I suppose I should have expected that of you. The type to draw a straight line through a maze, hm?
